Be in the moment.
Meet Your Documentary Wedding Videographer

John Paul
I have been creating wedding films since 2017. While I have been a wedding photographer since 2006 when I photographed my first wedding in Colorado, I expanded to filming weddings in 2017 in Lawrence, KS.
WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO FILMING WEDDINGS?
My wedding videography style is very much documentary in nature, as I think natural moments and being in the moment is the true key to life. This of course applies to your wedding day - you should BE IN THE MOMENT.
WHAT PARTS OF THE WEDDING DAY DO YOU COVER?
My packages range from four hours to six hours and can be used to cover whatever parts of the day you're interested in. Most couples prefer to have a first look recorded, followed by the ceremony, portraits after the ceremony, and toasts. Couples who like more dancing to be documented usually book the six hour package.
DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Yes! I bring multiple cameras to every wedding and use multiple sources of audio to ensure I'm capturing all the key moments.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK?
This has never happened in 20 years! Either Emily Henry will be your videographer, or I will reach out to one of the many wedding professionals in my network to ensure your day is covered. However, if I am unable to find a replacement, you will get a 100% refund of course.
HOW DO YOU DELIVER THE WEDDING FILM?
I save your wedding films online where you can choose to share them with family and friends to stream, or simply download the files and share them how you like!
