Lawrence Farmers Market: Website Redesign
The Lawrence Farmers Market believes that small, local farms are essential to the local economy and is committed to making economic and educational connections between Lawrence-area residents and local farmers.
Between 2024 and 2025, I had the pleasure of photographing multiple market days to provide updated images for their website re-design. Work includes vendor portraits, story-telling scenes, interactions, and details of all the beautiful local products.

Lawrence Farmers Market: Burning Barrel Fundraiser
The mission of the Lawrence Farmers Market is to provide children and adults in the Lawrence, Kansas area, with locally grown foods and farm products. This will be accomplished by improving access to local, healthy, affordable food through a direct farm-to-consumer marketing venue that will serve diverse populations, including those of low income.
At their first Farm-to-Table Fundraiser, hosted on-site at the Burning Barrel farm and restaurant in Lecompton, Kansas, sixty guests joined in supporting local food and farm products. With their donation, donors enjoyed a Hyperlocal 3-course meal with drink pairings in the beautiful setting of Burning Barrel, accompanied by live music from Megafauna and a short presentation about the Lawrence Farmers Market.

LOT's mission is to bridge the gap of opera during the summer months in Lawrence, Topeka, and the Kansas City metro area. Committed to enhancing the cultural landscape, they offer a diverse array of music and drama, making opera accessible to all and ensuring that this transformative art form resonates with a wide range of audiences.
In their 2024 season, they performed the operas "Path to Heaven," by Adam Gorb and Ben Kaye, Gilbert & Sullivan's "Trial by Jury," and Mozart's "Don Giovanni," along with a musical theatre cabaret, and an evening of opera scenes and arias.

Liberty's Kitchen: New Orleans
Liberty's Kitchen provided New Orleans youth with the skillset to achieve their vision of success through professional and personalized training. Their Youth Development Program was a 12-week paid job-training program for young people ages 16-24. They offered hands-on skill building in food service, career development, leadership, and transferable skills.
I photographed Liberty's Kitchen as part of the Momenta Workshop's Project NOLA. Despite being an important and long-standing non-profit in New Orleans, they announced a week after the workshop that they were closing their doors. The individuals photographed are the final two graduating cohorts of the program.
